Our Core Values

For years, I lived in a cycle of bondage—
bound to food, shame, and the relentless pursuit of perfection. I binged and restricted, punished my body with excessive cardio, and filled my plate with sugar instead of nourishment. I believed my body was broken, that high cortisol and a stubborn set point were to blame. I made every excuse not to eat in a deficit, convincing myself I could be the exception and still lose weight while clinging to the same destructive habits. I turned to food when I was bored, stressed, or unfulfilled, and refused to surrender control. In 2023, I began tracking calories to regain discipline, and while it taught me about nutrition, it quickly became another tool of obsession. I lost 15 pounds through extreme restriction, but also lost my period, my peace, and eventually regained all the weight—and more. I hadn’t built sustainable habits, and I certainly hadn’t invited God into the process. 
But in 2025, everything changed. I chose to walk a different path—one rooted in grace, strategy, and surrender. I stopped tracking obsessively, stopped saying no to life, and started saying yes to healing. I committed to consistency, variety, and movement that honored my body. I now train five days a week, walk daily, enjoy sweets without guilt, and no longer punish myself for imperfect days. With God’s help, I stepped into true food freedom, renewed my mind, and—yes—lost the weight again. But this time, it was different. It was sustainable. It was joyful. It was holy. Today, I help hundreds of women do the same—ditch the diets, the tracking, the guilt, and the shame—and walk boldly into the freedom and transformation God has waiting for them.
